Encapsulation of asbestos Super 6 roof
Chorus asked MPS to assess this roof in a series of structures that were clad in asbestos containing materials. Because the roofing was stable and not friable, we were able to encapsulate using Noxyde membrane paint. This prevented the higher cost of removal and reroofing. A carefully planned washdown ensured we could apply multiple coats of product sealing the asbestos from ever becoming friable.
