Who are we?

 

Metro started out in 1991 providing multiple services to building owners and managers.

In the years since we have continued to grow and now provide services throughout New Zealand and the Chatham Islands. We provide services to New Zealand and Australasian asset service providers and are closely allied to large key NZ Government organisations. Metro is a preferred supplier for maintenance services by one of NZ's largest telecommunication leaders.

What we do

Metro provides comprehensive asset and facilities maintenance services, including but not limited to, grounds and building maintenance, preventative work, routine and urgent repairs, and larger property improvement projects. In addition to these services Metro can assist with specialised services such as asbestos surveys/management plans, and asbestos removal/encapsulation.

Our approach has always been to make things easy for property owners to maintain their premises and solve any building issues they may have. 

Our assessment and diagnostic skills come from years in the trade - knowing what goes wrong, why, and where.

We are well versed in working on sites that are difficult to reach, and while no training can replace that experience, our employees on the ground are trained in techniques for identifying potential malfunctions, hazardous conditions, and unsafe work situations.

The building industry is constantly making improvements in materials and methods. We keep up to date with these improvements, providing industry training to our staff with the latest technologies and advances.

All of our employees are police vetted and carry photo identification. Our company logo is on our clothing and vehicles, clearly showing who we are, to give you assurance and confidence in us.
